Fund Your Bootcamp in Luxembourg

Depending on your situation, you may be able to reduce tuition costs or get paid time to train — through ADEM support for jobseekers, Individual Training Leave (Congé individuel de formation), or employer co-financing.

What training support exists in Luxembourg?

Luxembourg offers several pathways to make professional training more accessible. Some options support course fees directly (or via pre-financing), others help you free up time to study through paid leave, and some are designed for employer-sponsored upskilling plans.

We can support you by providing key information usually needed for applications (program details, schedule, and enrollment/invoicing documentation) and help you identify the option that best fits your situation.

Can it cover full tuition?

Coverage depends on the scheme and your eligibility. Some routes can cover eligible training fees (subject to approval), while others reimburse a percentage of costs or support you with paid time off. If there is any remaining balance, we can also discuss payment plans and available discounts.

Who can apply?

Funding routes in Luxembourg depend on your status. Common options include:

  • Jobseekers registered with ADEM

If you are registered with ADEM, you may be able to access support for professional training. ADEM has a pre-financing process where eligible training fees can be paid directly to the training provider (subject to approval and conditions).

  • Employees, self-employed people, and employer-sponsored learners

    • Individual Training Leave (Congé individuel de formation)

Eligible employees and self-employed people can request paid training leave for approved training. The leave is limited (e.g., up to a lifetime maximum and with limits per period), and requests must be made in advance.

    • Employer co-financing (Cofinancement de la formation en entreprise)

Private-sector companies established in Luxembourg may be able to receive state aid for employee training plans via the co-financing scheme managed with INFPC, subject to eligibility rules and deadlines.

How can I get started?

1

Book a call with our team so we can share the program structure, schedule, and the documentation you may need for your funding route.

2

If you are a jobseeker: register with ADEM and discuss your training plan with your advisor. If approved, ADEM can use a pre-financing process (activation codes provided by ADEM and transmitted to the training provider). Learn more here: ADEM training aid (lifelong-learning.lu).

3

If you are employed or self-employed: check your eligibility for Individual Training Leave (Congé individuel de formation) and submit your request in advance (typically at least 2 months before the start of the training).

4

If your employer is sponsoring the training: ask your HR/L&D team about Luxembourg’s co-financing scheme (cofinancement). Companies may receive state aid (e.g., a base rate plus certain uplifts for specific employee categories) and must apply within the required deadlines after the training year.
