Linux security, Windows security, and networking models
Programming, Scripting and Tools
Python, proxies & TOR, Bash, Netcat, Nmap and Wireshark
Red Team
Web security, binary exploitation, cryptography, pentesting, enumeration, privilege escalation, LDAP and DLL hijacking
Blue Team
Threat modelling (SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP), incident response, risk management and code auditing
Chapter 0: Pre-Work
Prior to the official start of our bootcamp and live classes, you will be given access to our online platform and our pre-work content. This content is meant for you to look at some basics of computer science and programming concepts. Even though the bootcamp will not have started officially, we will be available for you during this time to work together with you on how to lay out a plan for you to master these basics. If you are already interested in learning more Cybersecurity specific concepts, do not worry. During the pre-work, you learn about the basics of cryptography and historical ciphers.

Project: An Enigma
- In this project, you will be presented with a cipher text. Using the theoretical knowledge you gained about cryptography and the programming language of your choice, your task is to crack the code and discover the secret message.

Our methodology
Online Live Learning
- Join interactive live online sessions where you can collaborate with peers and get real-time support from instructors (scheduled in Irish time, GMT/IST).
Self-study
- Part-time: 9 hours live learning, 11 hours of self-study (20 hours per week)
- Full-time: 22.5 hours live learning, 17.5 hours of self-study (40 hours per week)
Flipped Classroom Method
- Learn key concepts through guided materials, then use live sessions for discussion, problem-solving and hands-on application.
Guided Practice
- Build skills through practical exercises and project work, with regular feedback to help you improve and grow a portfolio you can be proud of.
What you’ll need
You don’t need any prior qualifications in computer science or programming to join our bootcamp. We start from fundamentals and support you step by step, so you can build confidence from the ground up. Whether you’re new to tech or upskilling for your current role, you’ll be guided throughout the programme.
- Laptop or Computer: A device capable of running necessary security tools, virtual machines, or other software. Minimum requirements: 16GB RAM, 512GB storage (SSD is preferred), Core i5 CPU or above
- Stable Internet Connection: Reliable internet access for live learning sessions, hands-on labs, and assignments.
- Basic Computing Knowledge: Understanding of how computers and operating systems function.
- Basic Web Knowledge: Familiarity with how the web works, including HTTP, HTTPS, and web browsers.
- English Proficiency: B1 level with the ability to understand technical materials and communicate effectively, as the bootcamp is conducted in English.
- Commitment to Learning: Willingness to dedicate several hours per week for live learning sessions, assignments, and self-study.
