Bootcamps in English, with Spain-Ready Funding Routes

If you're based in Spain, you may be able to reduce the cost of training through employer-backed options (like FUNDAE) or other support schemes. We’ll help you present the right documentation and programme details so you can focus on learning and getting job-ready.

What funding options are available in Spain?

Spain does not offer a direct equivalent to the German Bildungsgutschein, but residents can access several public funding and subsidy options to support professional training. These programs are designed to help both unemployed individuals and working professionals improve their skills and increase employability.

The most common options include publicly funded or subsidised courses offered through the national and regional employment services, as well as company-sponsored training financed via the Spanish training credit system (FUNDAE). Depending on your situation and region, additional grants or allowances may also be available.

Does it cover full tuition?

Coverage depends on the funding route. Publicly funded courses for unemployed or active workers are often fully subsidised, meaning there is no tuition cost for participants. Company-funded training through the national training credit system may cover all or part of the course costs. In some cases, extra support such as travel or subsistence allowances may apply.

Who can apply?

Eligibility depends on your employment status in Spain:

  • Registered job seekers

If you are registered as unemployed with your regional public employment service, you may be eligible for fully funded or subsidised training programs aimed at improving your employability and helping you re-enter the job market.

  • Other options:

    • Employed professionals

If you are currently employed, your company may be able to finance your training using national training credits (FUNDAE). These credits are funded through Social Security contributions and allow employees to upskill with little or no personal cost.

    • Additional regional support

Some autonomous communities offer extra grants, scholarships, or allowances for training participants, particularly for unemployed individuals or those in career transition.
