Chapter 0: Pre-Work
Our prework helps you build a strong foundation and confidence around the concepts and technologies any software developer needs to master. This includes introductions to languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will also learn how to use key developer tools: Git, GitHub, and VS Code.

Live online learning
- Join interactive live sessions where you can ask questions, collaborate with peers, and learn directly from instructors in real time—accessible from Iceland (UTC/GMT) and across Europe.
Self-study that actually works
- Part-time: 9 hours live learning + 11 hours self-study (20 hours/week)
- Full-time: 22.5 hours live learning + 17.5 hours self-study (40 hours/week)

You don’t need a computer science degree to join. We start with the essentials and build toward real projects step by step—great for beginners and for professionals in Iceland looking to upskill with modern web tools.
- Laptop or computer: A device capable of running code editors, browsers, and local development tools.
- Stable internet connection: Reliable internet access for live sessions, hands-on work, and assignments.
- Basic computer literacy: Ability to navigate your OS, manage files, and use the web comfortably.
- English proficiency: B1 level or higher, as the bootcamp is conducted in English.
