Claim up to EUR 375 back from Cevora / Cefora
If your payslip says Joint Committee 200 (PC 200 in Dutch, CP 200 in French), the sector fund Cevora, called Cefora in French, pays back up to EUR 375 on a course you pay for yourself and follow outside working hours. Our live online classes qualify; self-paced e-learning modules no longer do. Read this as what it is: a real rebate, not funding for a full bootcamp, and this page is honest about what pays the rest.
What the Cevora premium is, and what it is not
Cevora and Cefora are the Dutch and French names of one organisation: the training fund of Joint Committee 200, the auxiliary joint committee that covers roughly 500,000 white-collar employees in Belgium. It is the default committee for office staff whose sector has no committee of its own, which is why so many people in Belgium are under PC 200 without ever having thought about it. One of the things the fund does is reimburse training that employees buy and pay for themselves: up to EUR 375 per person, on production of an invoice, proof of payment and a payslip. Let us put the size of that in plain view before anything else, because everything on this page depends on it. Our bootcamps cost between EUR 5,000 and EUR 17,000. EUR 375 is a genuine rebate and it is worth thirty minutes of admin, but it is a few percent of the bill, not a funding plan, and any page that tells you otherwise is selling you something. What makes it worth claiming is how few conditions there are. Cevora asks for no provider accreditation, does not exclude foreign providers, and does not care that the invoice comes from a German company, so there is no registration to check and no file to open before you enrol. There is one condition that has tightened and that you should check on every provider you compare, us included: individual self-paced e-learning with no live teaching moment is no longer covered by the training premium, and falls instead under a separate e-learning platform licence premium capped at EUR 200. Code Labs Academy teaches live, with an instructor in a virtual classroom at fixed hours, so our courses count as a proper training and the full up-to-EUR-375 employee premium applies. The rest of this page covers who qualifies, how to claim within the three-month window, and the routes that actually move a five-figure number: your employer, and interest-free instalments.
You are employed under Joint Committee 200. PC 200 (CP 200 in French) is the auxiliary joint committee for white-collar staff and covers around 500,000 employees. The number is printed on your payslip, so check there first and ask payroll if you cannot find it.
You paid for the training yourself. The invoice has to be in your name and paid out of your own money. If your employer buys the course, this particular premium is not your route: the company channel is separate and is covered further down this page.
You follow the training outside working hours. Our part-time bootcamps run live in the evenings and at weekends alongside a full-time job, which is exactly the pattern this premium was designed for.
Recently dismissed while under PC 200? You can claim as well. Cevora runs the same premium, also up to EUR 375, for people who have just lost a PC 200 job and pay for training out of their own pocket.
No accreditation is required from the provider. Cevora asks for no Belgian registration and no quality label, and foreign providers are not excluded. The only provider condition is that the training comes from somebody other than Cevora itself.
The training has to help you progress professionally. Digital skills are broadly accepted under that test, but the fund assesses each file individually, so a complete change of direction is its judgement call rather than an automatic yes.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know whether I am under PC 200?
Your payslip carries the joint committee number, usually printed as paritair comité 200 or commission paritaire 200. PC 200 is the auxiliary joint committee for white-collar workers, the catch-all committee for office staff whose sector has no committee of its own, and it covers roughly 500,000 employees, so the odds are better than most people expect. If the number is not on your slip, ask HR or payroll directly, because they answer this question routinely. Blue-collar contracts, the public sector and sectors with their own committee fall outside it, and in that case the sector fund attached to your own committee is the place to look instead.
Does a live online course from a foreign provider count?
Yes. Cevora does not require any provider accreditation, does not maintain a list of approved training bodies for this premium and does not exclude foreign providers, so an invoice from Code Labs Academy in Germany is treated like any other external training invoice. What matters is the format rather than the postcode: the training must be a real course with live teaching, invoiced to you and followed outside your working hours. That is exactly why the distinction between our live virtual classroom and a self-paced video library matters here, and it is worth checking on any provider you compare us with.
My employer is paying part of the course. Can I still claim the EUR 375?
Not for the part your employer pays. This premium reimburses training that you buy and pay for yourself, so a course invoiced to your company belongs to the employer channel instead, where a company with a Cevora training plan can claim its own per-day premiums. If the two of you split the fee, be explicit about the invoicing before you enrol: we can issue one invoice to the company for its share and one to you for yours, which keeps each side's paperwork clean. Then check with Cevora how your own share should be presented, because the fund decides how a split file is treated, not us.
What if my claim is refused?
Ask for the reason, because most refusals come from something mechanical rather than a judgement about you: the claim arrived after the three-month window, the invoice was in the employer's name, the payment proof did not match the invoice, the payslip did not show PC 200, or the training was self-paced e-learning rather than live teaching. Several of those are avoidable at enrolment, which is why the checklist above matters. It is also worth remembering the shape of this route: there is no approval to obtain before you start, so a refused claim never blocks or unwinds your enrolment, it just means the rebate does not arrive. Cevora assesses each file on its own merits and has the final word.
I am changing career completely, not progressing in my current job. Does that still count?
It may, and the fund decides. The condition is that the training helps you progress professionally, and digital skills are broadly accepted under that heading, including by employers and funds that would once have read them as a departure. A move that has nothing to do with your working life is where the test starts to bite, and that assessment belongs to Cevora, file by file, not to us. Two things make this less risky than it sounds: you claim after the course rather than before, so a refusal costs you the admin and nothing else, and describing the professional link honestly in your claim (the tools your team uses, the work you want to take on) is more persuasive than presenting a bootcamp as a clean break with everything you have done so far.
EUR 375 on a course costing thousands. What actually pays for the rest?
In order of how much they move: your employer, then instalments. Many PC 200 employers hold a training budget and a Cevora training plan and can fund the course outright or contribute to it, and our guide to employer-funded training sets out the business case and the email to send. If your company is a Brussels SME, it may also be able to apply for the regional training grant, which is assessed case by case and must be applied for before the course starts. Where you carry the cost yourself, we offer interest-free monthly instalments, up to 60 payments, paid directly to Code Labs Academy, a discount for paying the full fee upfront, and the discounts listed elsewhere on the site. Claim the Cevora premium on top of whichever of those applies. One practical detail if you are paying in instalments: the fund reimburses against an invoice in your name plus proof of payment, so ask Cevora what it accepts as proof for a fee you are still spreading, and keep every payment receipt from the start.
