Employer sponsorship
Many employers in the Netherlands offer an opleidingsbudget (learning budget) or tuition reimbursement. We can provide learning objectives, invoices, and programme details to support internal approval.
Sector training funds (O&O fondsen)
If you work under a collective labour agreement (cao), your sector may have an O&O fund that helps reimburse training and development. Availability and rules vary by sector.
SLIM subsidy (for eligible employers/SMEs)
Some Dutch organisations may be able to apply for the SLIM scheme to support learning and development. This route is generally employer-led and eligibility depends on the organisation and sector.
UWV training support
If you’re registered with UWV or receive an unemployment benefit, you may be able to get support for training (where eligible). Approval and funding depend on your situation and UWV assessment.
DUO lifelong learning credit (Levenlanglerenkrediet)
For eligible learners following recognised Dutch study programmes, DUO may offer a lifelong learning credit to help cover tuition or course fees. Eligibility depends on the programme and your personal situation.
