Skills to Advance
A SOLAS initiative delivered through Education and Training Boards (ETBs), supporting eligible employees to upskill or reskill—particularly in roles undergoing change.
Employer sponsorship
Many employers have learning budgets for upskilling. In Ireland, job-relevant course fees paid by an employer may qualify for favourable tax treatment—check Revenue guidance and your employer’s policy.
Tax relief on tuition fees
You may be able to claim tax relief on eligible tuition fees for approved courses at approved institutions. Rules apply—check whether your course and provider qualify before relying on this option.
