With hands-on lectures, design labs, 1:1 hours with instructors and built-in teamwork with peers, you never have to feel like you’re missing out on the experience of in-person learning.
All four of our bootcamps — in Web Development, Data Science & AI, UX/UI Design and Cybersecurity — are offered in a live, remote learning format.
To experience remote learning to its fullest, you will need a consistent, reliable and high-speed internet connection and a laptop or desktop computer.
Code Labs Academy currently runs all remote courses according to Berlin (CET/CEST) time. As a participant, you can join lessons from any location where this schedule works for you — ideal if you are based in Germany or nearby time zones.

What is the admissions process like?
Learners, job-seekers and professionals interested in upskilling can apply using the Apply button displayed on our website.
You will be asked a few questions regarding your background and motivation for joining one of our bootcamps.
Upon completing your application, you will receive an email outlining the next steps and inviting you to book a call with one of our learning specialists.
A Code Labs Academy learning specialist will review your answers and answer any outstanding questions or concerns you may have. This is to ensure that, should you choose to enrol on the chosen course, you can proceed with full confidence that we are the best fit for your learning and career goals.
Once you have decided which course is best for you and chosen a financing option suitable to your needs (including, where applicable, German funding options), you will receive your onboarding documents to sign and a deposit will be collected if relevant.
Once enrolled, you will be granted access to Code Labs Academy’s bespoke learning platform (to familiarise yourself with our virtual classroom), pre-course study materials (to ensure all participants have a working understanding of their chosen study area) and a forum to connect with fellow learners from Germany and around the world.
Does Code Labs Academy really teach anyone, from anywhere?
Anyone can join a Code Labs Academy cohort remotely, regardless of their geographical location. However, our home time zone is Berlin, Germany (CET/CEST). Participants in locations that cannot be comfortably supported by this time zone should be aware that our live schedule may not be ideal for them at this time.
What are my options for funding?
We work with flexible payment options and financing partners to make access to our courses as smooth as possible, including instalment plans that spread the cost over time.
We also run various early-bird and situational discount schemes. These can be found on our Discounts & Financing pages and discussed during your admissions call.
For learners based in Germany, you may be eligible to fund your place in one of our bootcamps through public programmes such as the German educational voucher Bildungsgutschein (via the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter), as well as other upskilling schemes depending on your situation. We are happy to talk you through these options and help you understand the next steps during a free information call.

Book a meeting with one of our learning specialists to confirm that we’re the right fit for you and to clarify any questions or concerns you might have. In this conversation, we’ll also talk about financing options, special offers and, for applicants in Germany, possible public funding routes such as the Bildungsgutschein or other schemes.

Onboarding and Pre-work
Once you’ve signed up, we’ll introduce you to your course instructors and cohort. You will also receive pre-course study materials so you can hit the ground running from day one, already familiar with our virtual classroom and core concepts.
