About Ada Developers Academy

Ada Developers Academy is a non-profit, tuition-free coding school for women and gender-expansive adults. It was founded by Ada Lovelace and there are campuses located in Seattle and Atlanta for in-person learning as well as a digital classroom. Its core aim is to increase the role and impact of women in tech.

Ada Developers Academy online programs cover Python, computer science fundamentals, SQL, Flask, JavaScript, and React. Ada Developers Academy programs also teach development skills such as diversity, inclusivity, equality, and other social justice skills. One Ada Developers Academy review called the school “life-changing” stated that it more than doubled her previous income.

Ada Developers Academy programs are cost-free. Therefore, Ada Developers Academy deferred tuition is not required. However, students must pay for living expenses and the intensive program offered by Ada Developers Academy means that students will not be able to work while in attendance.

Ada Developers Academy payment options include a $700 a week stipend during the five-month internship and a zero percent interest loan through their lending partner, Community Credit Lab, for those who need further assistance. There is also an Ada Developers Academy scholarship available.

Ada Developers Academy job placement rates are 94 percent for its graduates. This is largely down to the internship experience program, which is a mandatory five-month placement. Furthermore, 74 percent of graduates receive full-time work from their internship companies.

Ada Developers Academy bootcamp prep is covered by an Ada Build curriculum and an Ada precourse. Ada Build is made up of seven self-guided lessons. It is not mandatory to complete this course but it is highly recommended. This course will also help prospective students strengthen their skills for the application process. The Ada precourse is a mandatory six-week program that must be completed before day one in the classroom.
