At Code Labs Academy, we believe high-quality tech education should be within reach for anyone in Japan who is ready to do the work, regardless of background or previous experience.

We’re working toward a world where more people can build and use technology with confidence: professionals navigating digital transformation, graduates looking for real practice, founders prototyping new ideas, and teams improving how they collaborate with data and software.

To keep learning accessible, we run free online community sessions and workshops timed for Japan Standard Time (JST). We also help learners explore Japan-based funding and financing routes—such as the Employment Insurance Education and Training Benefits system (Hello Work / 教育訓練給付制度), employer-sponsored training support like the Human Resources Development Support Subsidy (人材開発支援助成金), and flexible tuition payment options in JPY (when available).

Most importantly, we design our bootcamps with zero entry prerequisites and a strong project focus. By the end, you’ll have a portfolio that demonstrates practical ability in high-demand areas such as Web Development, UX/UI Design, and Data Science & AI—skills you can apply immediately in your current role or your next challenge.

Our Story

Founded in 2021, Code Labs Academy was built in response to a clear global need: more people who can ship digital products, work comfortably with data, and contribute to modern tech teams. In Japan as elsewhere, the gap between what businesses need and what traditional learning paths deliver can be hard to bridge—especially when the pace of change keeps accelerating.

That’s why we focus on outcomes you can prove. We combine instructor-led teaching, guided practice, and hands-on projects that build a portfolio you can share with employers, clients, or collaborators. Learners get support through flexible office hours, feedback loops, and 1:1 coaching—plus a structure that helps you progress from wherever you’re starting. Choose an immersive 12-week format or a 24-week part-time schedule designed to fit around work and life.
